Conor McGregor, an Irish boxer recently took on potty-mouthed Californian Nate Diaz for a rerun of their infamous UFC 196 matchup that saw Diaz choke McGregor into submission to take an unexpected victory.
There was no love lost between the two fighters during an intense build-up to the bout.
Daily Star UK reports that frustrated with McGregor’s late arrival for a pre-fight press conference, Diaz stormed out of the event, sparking an incredible sequence of events that saw the pair exchange bottles of energy drinks from opposite ends of the hotel.
Incredibly, when the fight finally happened in the early hours of Sunday morning, it lived up to expectations – a rare phenomenon in the high-pressure world of sports.
Both fighters gave it their all, leaving everything in the Octagon during an epic five-round, 25-minute dust-up worthy of its Gladiatorial hype.
But it was McGregor who emerged victorious, registering a controversial split-decision win and setting the stage for the mouth-watering prospect of a third and final decider.
Despite the high-octane action however, some fans found themselves a little distracted by an alleged wardrobe malfunction.
Twitter user Jonno Turner first spotted the phallic intruder in a series of images posted in the aftermath of the fight.

As it turns out, the object in question was McGregor’s bloodied and bandaged thumb, giving a flawless demonstration of the "wrong place, wrong time" thesis.
In the wake of his hard-earned victory over Diaz, McGregor lifted the lid on his future plans, including the possibility of fighting outside his natural weight class once again.
"When we fight again, it’ll be on my terms," he said.
