The joy of every footballers is to be featuring for their clubs where they would get the chance to exhibit their talents and be watched by many of their faithfuls.
But there are some players who were bought expensively, and they have turned to bench warmers at their clubs. Here we look at some players who falls into this category.
1. Michy Batshuayi (Chelsea, 21.25 million pounds)

This season in the premier League, Michy Batshuayi is one the the Chelsea players who have been overlooked by Antonio Conte who is coach of Chelsea despite the amount spent to brought him from Olympic Marseille.
The Belgian joined the Blues from Chelsea prior to the start of the season,  but Conte has stick to Pedro, Eden Hazard and Diego Costa upfront.
2. Memphis Depay (Manchester United, 21.25 million pounds)

Since joining Manchester United from PSV, Depay has failed to make an impact in the team considering the amount that brought him to Old Trafford, and Everton are the team lining up a deal to take him out of United when the January transfer window opens.

Brazilian star Oscar joined Chelsea in 2012 from Sao Paulo and he has been impressive since joining the Blues not until this season when he fell out of favor to Chelsea coach Antonio Conte who prefer former Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas in his formation.
5. Wayne Rooney (29.75 million pounds)

England striker Wayne Rooney has fell out of favor to Manchester United coach Jose Mourinho who has chosen Juan Mata to be playing his position recently.
Rooney joined Manchester United in 2004 after stint at Everton where he played for two terms
6. Daniel Sturridge (Liverpool, 21.25 million pounds)

Daniel Sturridge joined Liverpool in 2013 from Chelsea, but this season the combination of Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Coutinho have been impressive which has made it difficult for Sturridge to break into the team.
