I got pregnant in primary six – Rita Edochie

Rita-Edochie-

Popular Nollywood actress, Rita Edochie, said on Saturday in Abuja that she was unaware that she was pregnant when she was in primary six.
Edochie told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in an interview that contrary to a story that she did not tell her mother about the pregnancy, she was not even aware of her situation.
“Though boy used diabolic means and sexually abused me; I was not aware, I could not tell exactly how it happened.
“I was not aware that I was pregnant then; I was so tiny.
“We were playing games in the school; the type that the instructor or referee will say `number one’
and pupils with number 1 would run and collect something.
“It was during the game that a fellow pupil insulted me that my tummy was like a breadfruit; I was angered and beat her up,” she said.
She explained that the lesson teacher then asked them to go home and bring their parents.
The actress said that she was a young innocent girl who could not tell lies to the mother or against the mother.
“When I got home, I told my mother what led to the fight; she then asked me to raise up my dress; I did and after examination, she said that I was pregnant.
“When she said, ‘do you know that you are pregnant,’ I fainted; any other story aside this is not true,’’ Edochie said. (NAN)

The Nigerian Army on Sunday said its troops have rescued about 5,000 persons held hostage by Boko Haram terrorists in parts of Borno.
The acting Director of Army Public Relations, Colonel Sani Usman, said in a statement that eight suspected Boko Haram insurgents were killed during clearance operations conducted by troops of 21 Brigade.
He said the incident occurred in Zangebe, Maiwa, Algaiti and Mainari villages in Mafa Local Government Area of the state.
He said troops of 7 Division Garrison Rapid Deployment Force also conducted clearance operations
in several villages across Borno on Saturday to rid the areas of the insurgents.
Usman said though a member of the Civilian Joint Task Force was killed in the operation and one soldier was wounded, the spirit remained high among troops as they continued with the operations.
“Elements of Nigerian Army 7 Division in conjunction with Mobile Police Force on Saturday conducted clearance operations in Musa Yiwa, Ladin Buta and Bazaka villages.
Other villages include Kesa Gala, Talba, Fahinde, Shirori, Gizina, Maska Aribe and Maska Lawanti, all in Mafa Local Government Area of Borno,” he said.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that troops had in recent operations rescued many hostages and cleared several villages hitherto held by the insurgents.

Nigeria's war of the religious robes

Students of Baptist High School, Iwo wearing Christian garments to school

In our series of letters from African journalists, novelist and writer Adaobi Tricia Nwaubani looks at how the latest religious tension in Nigeria is playing out in what people wear to school.
Almost all of Nigeria's many inter-religious crises have erupted in the north of the country, where the majority of the country's Muslims live, along with a sizeable Christian minority.
But, over the past few weeks, a religious conflict of a peculiar nature has sprouted in Osun state, south-west Nigeria, which has a large population of Muslims as well as Christians.
While previous religious conflicts have involved machetes, the battle in Osun is being fought with religious garments.

It's the war of the religious robes.
Back in the beginning of June a judge ruled that female Muslims who attend public schools in the state could wear their hijabs to class.
Two students wearing hijabs
The state's branch of the Christian Association of Nigeria (Can) said Christian students would wear garments associated with church activities to schools if the state governor implemented the court ruling.
And they made good on their threat.
On 14 June some Christian students in the state's schools turned up wearing church clothes over their school uniforms.
Some wore maroon choir robes and others donned ankle-length, white garments.
The photos of the students provided a comic relief.

But the war of the robes did not begin with the hijab ruling.
It goes back to 2012, when Governor Rauf Aregbesola approved the demolition of the Fakunle High School to make way for, as the rumour goes, the construction of a mall.
We Nigerians love our malls. But we love our religion even more.
And Fakunle High School was originally a Christian missionary school.
The school's alumni organised a peaceful protest but the governor still went ahead with the demolition.
Shortly afterwards, Mr Aregbesola announced plans to "reclassify" schools in the state, further frightening the Christian community into suspecting that he had a hidden agenda.
"There are indications that Governor Rauf Aregbesola of Osun State is nursing the ambition of Islamising the state," said Reverend Musa Asake, Can's General Secretary.
Christians praying
The reclassification entailed merging some schools. For example, some male students were dispatched to the Baptist Girls' High School in the state capital, Osogbo, while some Muslim students were asked to join the Baptist High School in another town, Iwo.
In a letter to the governor, the Osun chapter of Can opposed the plan, alleging that "the foundation of the Christian faith is being threatened by some of the state government policies especially in the education sector".
Despite a peaceful demonstration and a seven-day ultimatum, the governor went ahead and merged the schools.
"No single group, organisation, individual, religious or social body's interest would suffer as a result of the ongoing re-classification and reform," Mr Aregbesola assured in a statement.
But while schools, such as the Baptist High School, ultimately complied with the directive, they drew the line at allowing Muslim students to turn up for classes wearing the hijab.
Thus began a litany of accusations and counter-accusations, with several media reports alleging harassment of students by teachers, and violence against teachers by recalcitrant students.

Hijabs were reportedly yanked off students' heads, and students allegedly beat up disapproving teachers.
At some point, a Muslim group in the state organised a protest, which saw Muslim students marching from school to school.
Fearing a "breakdown of law and order", the state government temporarily shut down schools in the state.
Eventually, the Muslim association in the state took the matter to court.
After three long years, Justice Jide Falola ruled at the beginning of June that the use of hijabs by female Muslim students in Osun was their fundamental human right to freedom of religion.
Thus began the present crisis.

‎"We are appealing the judgement, but Christian pupils will continue to wear church garments to their various schools," said Moses Ogundeji, Can vice-chairman in the state.
Professor Ishaq Akintola, director of the state's Muslim Rights Concern group, described Can's reaction to the court's decision as "impunity of the highest order", adding that the wearing of hijab was an "Allah-given fundamental right to female Muslims students".
One can only imagine the impact of all this commotion on the Osun state students who are expected to study amid such tension.

US government reveals strong evidence of $3xual scandal against Nigerian lawmakers

Premium Times gathered that some officials privileged to confidential information said Yakubu Dogara was told about the S3@.x:’ual scandal by the US envoy in Nigeria.
U.S. Ambassador in Nigeria, James Mr. Entwistle, wrote a letter dated Thursday, June 9, alleging that three Nigerian lawmakers – Mohammed Garba Gololo (Bauchi APC), Samuel Ikon (Akwa Ibom PDP) and Mark Gbillah (Benue APC) were involved in soliciting S3@.x:’ual favours from hotel staff in two separate incidents, during their visit to the US.
It was alleged that Gololo grabbed a maid in the hotel and requested for S3@.x:’, Ikon and Gbilla were said to have told hotel parking attendants to get commercial S3@.x:’ workers for them.
The purported S3@.x:’ual misconducts happened sometime in April at the Residence Inn Marriot, Downtown Cleveland and were immediately reported to State Department officials by the hotel’s management.
The House of Representatives members who reacted to the allegations and threats of legal action, as local witnesses in Cleveland and sources close to State Department and the Nigerian diaspora community in Washington DC informed Premium Times and relevant U.S. officials, that they are in possession of records specifying “circumstances of” the alleged misconduct, comprising of “eyewitness reports” and real-time “video” evidence.
The source said: “The Ambassador wouldn’t have written to the Speaker if there is no solid evidence,”  also saying that after the hotel manager reported the S3@.x:’ual scandal, the State Department officers “had to investigate before acting on the allegations.”
The source who gave the details of investigation carried out so far opposed Gololo’s denial, stressing that of the three lawmakers, “he is the one who actually put his hand on somebody, the others only made a verbal request”.
Premium Times gathered from the state department that “the woman he (Gololo) allegedly accosted felt intimidated.” On the other hand, she reported the incident to her supervisor at immediately after saving herself from the offensive situation.
“You don’t need to have a car to talk to a parking lot attendant,” A source said
“In all honesty, the Ambassador would not have gone forward with the letter if there is no solid evidence behind it,” further saying that that Mr Entwistle “is not going to apologise; there is nothing to apologize for.”
There have insinuations that Einwistle was trying “to bring disrepute to the hallowed institution of the National Assembly and the entire nation of Nigeria”, as a source informed said the intention was to put out there that some participants in the International Visitor Leadership Programme (IVLP), not all, are guilty of S3@.x:’ual misconduct and to educate participants who may be admitted for this and other programmes in future.
“The reality is that these three gentlemen made a mistake. They violated the terms of the IVLP of which they were duly informed before they left Abuja,”Premium Times learnt from the said source., while adding that, “prostitution is not legal in the U.S., they were informed about that before their departure.”
“If they had been remorseful, if they had just said it was miscommunication and apologised, that would have been the end of it. They were accused of assault and solicitation, no one talked about rape.” the source said further
In addition, Premium Times has it on good authority that State Department officials are not worried about the lawmakers’ threat of legal action because, according to our Washington DC sources, “they know their evidence will hold up in court”.
“If they (Gololo, Ikon and Gbillah) want the full spotlight of the justice system to shine on the evidence in the possession of the State Department, they should go ahead and initiate a lawsuit.
“Their conduct was a breach of U.S. law, instead of calling State Department officials, hotel managers could have had them summarily arrested and charged. As it is, everybody gave them a pass, letting them complete the programme without interference,”
A Nigerian who lives in Washington DC said: “I won’t be surprised if they keep female service staff away from anyone who identifies as a Nigerian or carries Nigerian passport.”
Earlier today, reports had it that, 10 Nigerian lawmakers who attended International Visitors Leadership Programme in Cleveland, Ohio, United States, were interrogated by officials of the US State Department over allegation of sex scandal

Now, this is a list of symptoms or things that cause pain, their possible causes, and solutions.

Symptom #1: V@.g!n@l discharge combined with itching
It might be caused by some infection. So, pay attention. Painful S3@.x:’, in this case, is the least of your troubles. For one, consult your doctor ASAP. For two: find an adequate treatment. These symptoms may be caused by yeast, or they may even indicate the presence of an STD. For three: urge your S3@.x:’ual partner to go through a checkup.
Symptom #2: itching
You may feel skin irritation and itching on the outside of the V@.g!n@. If there is no unusual discharge, it might be caused by improper hygiene. Too little or too much of it is equally bad. If you use a regular soap to wash your private parts, it may over dry the skin and evoke itching.

Symptom #4: no way in
At times a V@.g!n@ may get too tight for penetration. In most cases, there is a reason to worry about it, as it may be caused by vaginismus. No one really knows why this happens. In some cases women who went through S3@.x:’ual abuse have it. In other cases, it might be caused by lack of pelvic muscle training. So, so some exercises for your V@.g!n@l muscles regularly.

Symptom #5: pain during the deep penetration
One of the possible causes might be a tipped uterus. It might be a thing you are born with. You can still enjoy S3@.x:’ in many positions, where you control how deep the man goes into you.

IPhone 6 And 6 Plus Sales Banned In China

iPhone 6 And 6 Plus Sales Banned In China – A court in Beijing, China, has banned sales of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus in China over its similarity to an existing Chinese device.
The phones had been deemed similar to Shenzhen Baili’s 100C phone, with the intellectual property court ruling against Apple.
In a statement, Apple revealed that all brands are on sale in what is the company’s second-biggest market, as they have appealed the decision at a higher court.
The statement reads:-

“iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus as well as iPhone 6s, iPhone 6S Plus and iPhone SE models are all available for sale today in China. We appealed an administrative order from a regional patent tribunal in Beijing last month and as a result the order has been stayed pending review by the Beijing IP Court.”
According to the Wall Street Journal, most phone stores in Beijing have already stopped selling the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, favoring the newer models iPhone 6s and 6s plus.
This marks yet another struggle for Apple in China, after the company’s movie and books service was shut down recently for not having appropriate licenses. The company’s struggles in China have already begun worrying investors, with share price already down on Friday.

Why Olamide May Remain A Local Artiste For Long

Olamide_Live_In_Concert

Ybnl Boss and Versatile Music artiste, Olamide aka Badoo is one of the most respected and recognized artiste in the Country…
His versatility to rap and sing and also fit into different genres of music from trap to reggae to fuji and many more has distinguished from The crop of talented artistes in Nigeria today..
This brings one to the reason why the artiste has not been duly recognized internationally and outside Nigeria alongside his peers like Davido and Wizkid..
Why is Olamide name lacking in most international awards and the talented artiste not getting deserved attention from the outside World..

Note – Doing indigenous music is not an excuse for lack of intl recognition. 9ice was invited to nelson mandela and MOB0 and Yousuf won a grammy with his local songs.. So doing local or indigenous song is never an excuse..
1) Quantity Over Quality – Olamide has made quantity is main goal..Flood the scene with songs and songs till you reach a point of equilibrum and then start to decline…
Olamide has failed to allow the people thirst for his songs and his releases are not up to expectations too…
It gets to a point listeners are no longer gingered to listen to what the artist will say as artist becomes monotous and repititive.
The rapper is even gearing up to release a sixth studio album.
2) Branding – Branding is also very much …. The Kind of brand Olamide potrays is of the not too internationally minded artist. He hardly dresses corporate and potray his versatility in his brand..
He has even gone ahead to Brand himself a Local Rapper. This type of image projected is the way he is addressed..
He has even refused to meet up with more influential managers and more serious minded and music experts ….. The lack of Expertise on the side of the management and consisting of influential managers does bear its mark.
3) Appeal – While deviation from indigenous music is not the point. Appeal is very paramount….. Olamide style is not appealing to the outside world.. Sometimes balancing works.. I wonder if Hausas listen to olamide songs ? But i bet more listen to 9ice ? Why
A little of more mature songs and english lyrics might do the trick….Do something appealing to every one and yet dont forget the minority. You dont waste international features with Wale on songs like papilo you go make us proud….
Give them what they love.. Trap, pop. Feature more of their artistes and seek for international features….
Olamide is a Legend and will remain one… However , breaking into the international market Like Wizkid is not an easy job……
Olamide has too much talent than to be labelled a local rapper… We want to see him topping the billboard chart and copping his own BET award soon too… Enough of the Headies and NEA awards.

Get it Right – 4 ways to tell if her body is ready for sex

sex-moves-she-will-love-in-bed

Most men are at a loss as to how much foreplay is adequate and there really is no specific answer. Getting her aroused for sex depends on the kind of woman.
It is usually advised that the best way for your partner to enjoy sex is through making sure that you warm things up with foreplay first.
Most men are at a loss as to how much foreplay is adequate and there really is no specific answer. Getting her aroused for sex depends on the kind of woman, her mood, and sometimes, even the time of day. But you should watch out for these four signs that she is definitely good and ready for sex to begin.

Breathes faster

One sign of an aroused woman is faster and more intense breathing. The more turned on she gets, the faster her breath comes. This is also in tune with her heart beat as it also beats faster as she gets in the mood for sex.

Warmer body

During foreplay, her body temperature will get warmer the hotter things get. If she was cool to touch in the beginning, you will feel this gradual change and know that your magic is working.

Her nipples

Whether or not you are stimulating her nipples at the time, they will respond when she is aroused. This is usually a dead giveaway that she is responding to your moves. All you need to do is graze them gently with your fingers and you will know all you need to know.

She gets wet

This is the more open secret when it comes to signs she is aroused. When a woman’s body is ready for sex, her vagina gets lubricated to make penetration easier. This is the biggest sign that she is ready because biological, her body is ready to receive you.
